Certified Electronic Security Technician The key to success in any business, my father used to say, is to treat each customer as if they were family. When I founded the company in 1987, I brought this tradition with me. I began my education at VCU immersing myself in tech theatre which exposed me to set design, lighting and, of course, the intricacies of camera operation. After college, I served two years in the military assigned to security, then, went on to earn a license as an electrician. After serving my time in the construction industry, I founded AVSVA. My varied experience has served me well. I’m known for building relationships with my clients, delivering quality work that’s done on time and on budget, and creative problem solving.

Adam Samuelson

At the age of six, I held my first camera. At twelve, my first photograph was published by the local newspaper and I started filming events in high school. Holding course through my formal education, I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in film from Full Sail University in Florida. Over the last 12 years, I’ve specialized in filming live events/concerts and channeled my education and experience to continuously hone my editing skills. Helping people translate their creative vision into a visual form is my passion.
